===Area of influence=== Patron Saint of Travelers ===Worshipers=== Saint Queen Victoria is venerated widely by interplanar travellers, such as the stranded airship crew. She is typically depicted as a matronly, becrowned, human woman with iron-grey hair and blue eyes, attired in a sumptuous gown of regal cut. It is not known if the deity is based upon an actual historic figure, or rather, some personage from antiquity was named in honor of the patron Saint. Her worshippers and their practices are as widely-varied as the worlds on which her name is recognized. To some, she is but a name to call out when danger is near, while to others she is the sole mystical constant in a universe devoid of belief. Some churches construct shrines to her along side other local dieties, while other congregations go to war to preserve sole worship of her and her image. Her worshippers run the entire gamut of devotion, but all agree... Saint Queen Victoria has two separate and very distinct facets. ===Aspects=== *Beneficent Grandmother As the gentle, caring side of the Saint, this aspect succors those in time of great need. She comforts, heals, and defends her children, as any grandmother would. Some miracles attributed to her, in this guise, include the healing of grievous wounds, protection from injury, and even release from constraints. Worshippers of this aspect honor her by operating hospitals, caring for the needy, and safe-guarding travellers. *Iron-Fisted Empress It was said that the sun never set upon Saint Queen Victoria's empire, implying that it encircled an entire world. This aspect portraits the dedication and ruthlessness such an empire would require from its ruler. Weakness of any sort is to be scorned and rooted out... the needs of the empire (many) come before the needs of the citizen (one.) Accounts have been recorded of worthy followers gaining great strength in battle, inflicting unbelievable wounds, and even forcing their enemies into unfair duels. Followers of this aspect are typically of a military-mindset, or belong to some expansionist regime or organization. ===Baptism=== Followers of Saint Queen Victoria are not baptised into their faith, as other followers are upon Ya'Ria. However, she is a jealous diety and will withhold her favors should another belief find its way into a worshipper's heart. This is just as true of her aspects, though this is not surprising considering their opposition to one another. There are a few, rare documented cases where individuals exemplified blessings and favors from both aspects simultaneously, but these border closer to myth and legend, than to historical accounts.
